Adelphoi, a renowned nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering and transforming the lives of youth, announces the opening of a new detention center in Pittsburgh.

Highland Detention at Shuman will offer a safe, holistic and trauma-informed residential environment for youth who are pending further court proceedings. By blending our knowledge, resources, and passion for youth development, Adelphoi aims to revolutionize the way youth are supported within a detention environment, ensuring their well-being and providing them with the necessary tools to build brighter futures.

The program will initially serve 12 youth, with plans to offer programming to up to 60 youth by 2025-2026. You have an opportunity to join us in impacting the lives of these youth from the moment we open our doors.
